In the final quarter of 2023, the Android Shoot'em Up gaming scene in Europe saw a mix of fluctuating downloads, revenues, and active user counts. Sensor Tower's latest data provides insights into how these games have performed.
Habby's Survivor.io witnessed a notable increase in revenue towards the end of the quarter, reaching $129K in the last week of December, up from around $80K at the start. Downloads peaked in late October at approximately 72K but dipped to around 36K by early December, before rebounding to nearly 59K by the year's end. Weekly active users hit a high of around 467K in late October, although the quarter closed with a slightly lower count of 462K.
Yostar Limited's Azur Lane enjoyed a surge in revenue, more than doubling from $151K in late September to $198K by Christmas week. However, downloads remained low, with a spike to roughly 2.6K in the last week, contrasting with sub-1K figures for most of the quarter. Active users saw a gradual decline, ending the quarter at around 24K, down from approximately 29K in September.
For SWIFT GAMES' Heroes vs. Hordes: Survivor, revenue saw a slight uptick, ending the quarter at nearly $70K. Download numbers were modest, with a high of roughly 7.9K in early October. The active user base remained relatively consistent, ending the quarter with about 242K users.
